Prairie Sealcoating LLC was founded by three friends from Taylor University who share a strong work ethic, a commitment to excellence, and a passion for serving their community. What began as a simple idea between classmates quickly grew into a professional sealcoating service built on experience, integrity, and Midwestern values.

Our Story

Brothers Tim Jourdan and Nate Jourdan grew up in the asphalt industry, spending their summers learning the trade, mastering the details of quality pavement maintenance, and understanding what it takes to deliver dependable results. Their hands‑on experience, combined with years of working alongside seasoned professionals, gave them a deep respect for the craft and the customers they serve.

At Taylor University, the Jourdan brothers teamed up with their close friend Mason Van Tholen, whose drive, leadership, and business mindset made him the perfect third partner. Together, they combined industry knowledge, entrepreneurial spirit, and a shared vision: to provide reliable, high‑quality sealcoating services across Illinois.
